The Tuchola gas field is located in the Mid Polish Trough in northwest Poland. The field was originally discovered in 2001 but was not appraised and deemed commercial until 2014. The gas at Tuchola contains large amounts of nitrogen and helium. These gases will be stripped out and the helium sold contributing to the economics of the field.
