Report summary

Uganda's crude oil will be exported via a 1,443 kilometre pipeline to the port of Tanga in Tanzania. A route has been agreed in principle by the participating governments and upstream partners and a Front End Engineering Design (FEED) study is underway . The pipeline will have the capacity to carry up to 200 kb/d of oil from Blocks 1, 2 and 3A (Kingfisher) in the Lake Albert Basin development.
