Report summary
On 17 December 2015 the Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) announced the results of the 14th Onshore Licensing Round. The first tranche of awards was announced in August and included 27 blocks. The second tranche includes 132 blocks with 73 of these being awarded subject to conditions based on the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations. The awards are expected to be finalised in the first half of 2016. 14 new entrants acquired acreage in this licensing round.
