The Veslefrikk oil field is located north of the Oseberg area in the Northern North Sea. The field was developed using a fixed wellhead tower with drilling facilities and a semi-submersible rig for processing and accommodation. After processing, the oil is exported via the Oseberg field centre to Sture, while the gas is transported via Statpipe to the continent. The Veslefrikk field is in the decline phase and the operator is focused on managing through development drilling. The drilling facilities were recently upgraded which is expected to make operations more efficient during this tail-end production phase. Sale of injected gas started at the end of 2011 and we expect produced volumes to increase followed by a gas blowdown phase in the final years of field life.
