Report summary

The West Ashrafi field is in the Gulf of Suez to the west of the East Zeit Hilal and Ashrafi fields. IEOC (Eni) made an oil and gas discovery with its first well in May 1999. The discovery was appraised successfully in 2003. The field was brought onstream at 2 000 b/d in 2008 through a single well with a subsea completion tied to the onshore Ras El Ush terminal. The field stopped producing in 2011.
