Report summary

The West Baltim gas fields are located in the Mediterranean, adjacent to BP and Eni's Baltim fields. Eni, the operator made three gas discoveries on the block between 2006 and 2007, Meret, Andaleeb and Aten. Meret is the largest discovery, accounting for seventy-five per cent of reserves. The exploration licence expired in December 2013. The operator applied for development leases for Meret and Aten which were awarded in 2014. We foresee an integrated development concept which will potentially include the nearby Tennin and Salmon fields.
