Wolf Lake

Wolf Lake is located on the Kenai Peninsula in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, approximately 20 kilometres northeast of the Kenai field. The field was owned and operated by Marathon and began production in November 2001. The field's only producing well was shut-in at the end of 2005. After a few months, an old well was brought back onstream at very low rates, which were uneconomic over the long term.
