Nick Pickens

Nick has over 20 years of experience as an analyst in the metals and mining sector and has worked across base, bulk and precious metals. He was involved in copper research with Wood Mackenzie for over seven years before taking a role as a research director of global mining. Nick is central to delivering thought leadership research across the mining team, leading cross-commodity insights on major themes in the sector.

Earlier in his career, Nick held positions at other specialist metals consultancies, playing a key role in developing mine and smelter services for gold, copper and PGMs. He also has experience of working in the capital markets during his six years as an equities analyst in London.
