Having joined Wood Mackenzie from Gartner, Thijs brings a strong background in leading and expanding global Consulting and Advisory organisations. His time at Gartner was marked by double-digit growth achievements and the successful implementation of major strategic initiatives that resonated across global markets.
His career spans various senior roles, including technology and commercial leadership positions in investment management. Thijs is known for his dynamic leadership and his commitment to enhancing organisational capabilities through strategic insights and team development. He is passionate about leveraging his expertise to assist organisations in achieving their most critical strategic objectives.
His international experience, having lived and worked across Europe and the USA, provides him with a broad perspective on global business strategies.
Thijs earned his Master of Science in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. His thesis focused on organisational behaviour and the impact of changing company cultures, which reflects his deep understanding of corporate dynamics and strategic transformation.
