Alex is an analyst covering the steel and iron ore markets based in our London office. He joined Wood Mackenzie in 2016 from a business intelligence group where he worked as an iron ore technical marketing consultant. He is also a talented Physics teacher!
Alex has an intimate knowledge of the mining industry having spent seven years working as an onsite resource geologist in outback Australia. He specialises in supply, demand and price forecasting for global steel and iron ore markets.
