Błażej is a principal analyst focused on power modelling and analytics for Europe and Japan. He works with price forecasting models, primarily on the short end of the curve, covering intraday and spot markets, as well as fundamental models.
Before joining the Wood Mackenzie team in 2022, Błażej was a senior quantitative analyst at Volue Insight, and prior to that was head of analysis for Germany at Wattsight. He moved into the energy sector from a previous career in academia, as a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Bonn.
