Louise heads up Wood Mackenzie’s global team of senior in-house lawyers and compliance professionals. Over the past 12 years, she has helped to build and evolve our legal and compliance infrastructure, navigating the complex challenges that the business and our customers face. She manages a network of global stakeholders, including counterparties, regulators, JV partners, external advisors, potential acquisitions, customers and colleagues.
As the company has grown, so has her role, moving from a consultant to heading up EMEA Legal to her current position on the global executive board. Since 2001, Louise has been a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. Before joining Wood Mackenzie, she worked in the solar renewable energy industry and with private equity investors in the Middle East and Spain.
Louise holds a Bachelor of Law LLB (Hons) from Brunel University and a postgraduate diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Law (previously, the College of Law), London.
