Lucas provides expert and timely insight, advice and data on short-term LNG markets. He developed our LNG ship tracking dataset and capabilities using proprietary Wood Mackenzie AIS data and was one of the main contributors to the design and launch of our LNG Short-Term Analytics product. More recently, he worked on expanding the short-term suite with satellite LNG monitoring and analytics.
Prior to this, Lucas focused on longer-term gas and LNG dynamics. He covered a broad range of topics including LNG contracting trends, LNG corporate strategies, European gas markets and energy fundamentals in the Middle East, Africa and East-Mediterranean.
Lucas joined Wood Mackenzie in 2013. Earlier in his career, he worked at Engie on the development of quantitative and analytical forecasting models.
