Sagar joined Wood Mackenzie as a senior analyst in the Gold Mine Costs team in 2020. Based in Melbourne, he specialises in coverage of gold costs, client engagement and publishing topical insights. He has over 12 years’ experience analysing companies across a breadth of commodities within metals and mining and has also worked in sectors including oil and gas, utilities and renewables.
Sagar brings extensive experience in M&A, industry and market research and the transaction advisory space. Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, he worked with Moody’s Analytics, Evalueserve and Verity Knowledge Solutions. His responsibilities included drafting pitch books and financial modelling as well as leading and guiding analysts and associates.
Apart from his core work, Sagar also co-leads Wood Mackenzie's APAC Inclusion, Diversity and Belonging (ID&B) advocates.
