As head of global exploration, Steve leads the delivery of world-class research that enables our customers to make informed decisions on exploration and reservoir development strategies and investment. This insight and analysis supports energy portfolio optimisation in a lower carbon world.
Steve brings a strong blend of technical, commercial, strategy and relationship management skills to his role. His experience extends across a broad spectrum of political, fiscal and cultural environments, including Asia, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, the US and the UK.
Steve joined Wood Mackenzie in 2019 after more than 30 years of global experience with BP plc, where he held several senior technical and business leadership positions in the upstream segment.
