Tiago Vespoli joined Wood Mackenzie in 2023 and has been responsible for the metallurgical coal market research in Americas, IO research for Brazil, Canada and South Africa and Steel market for Americas ex-US.
He brings more than 10 years of experience in the Brazilian steel market, having worked as a business developer at Villares Metals and Sandvik. Prior to joining Woodmac, he worked as a senior consultant in management consultancies optimizing his clients' processes and also with market analysis for finished steel over the past 2 years at CRU. Tiago speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish and has extensive international experience in Latin America.
