Chris joined Wood Mackenzie in early 2023 as a senior analyst in the Steel and Steelmaking Raw Materials team, with responsibilities extending to both the metallurgical coal and iron ore markets. This includes analysing and reporting on market fundamentals, as well as forecasting future trends in the markets.
Following a move to principal analyst and then senior manager in 2026, Chris now leads the Metallurgical Coal Markets team, with continuing coverage of the iron ore markets.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Chris was an analyst covering the European steel markets.
