As the Chief Commercial Officer for Wood Mackenzie, Danny leads the firm’s global commercial strategy. Danny brings over 25 years of experience leading GTM strategy and execution in the data, software and technology industries. 

Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Danny served as the Chief Revenue Officer for Morningstar, a global market leader in investment data, research, ratings, analytics and software.   Over his tenure he led global transformation efforts across all GTM and revenue functions driving a period of strong revenue performance from $800M to nearly $2.5B in annual revenue.  Prior to Morningstar, he spent over 8 years at IBM in various commercial leadership and executive roles across sales, marketing and services for the entire IBM portfolio including software, cloud, systems and services.   

Danny holds a B.S. from the School of Natural Resources at the University of Vermont and an M.B.A from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with majors in marketing, strategy and managerial economics.  Danny has completed other graduate studies and executive education programs at the University of Chicago, Boston University and the Corporate Leadership Center.
