As a director on our Americas Gas and LNG Research team, Dulles delivers analysis of all aspects of the natural gas value chain, and explores how changing market dynamics affect gas prices and market opportunities. Dulles’ industry experience spans private and public sectors, starting with natural gas consulting at The Brattle Group, and fuels fundamental analysis and physical gas scheduling at NRG Energy. Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, he was an energy markets regulator at the Alberta Securities Commission, providing primary regulatory oversight of what is now ICE NGX.

Anatol Feygin has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer since September 2016. Mr. Feygin joined Cheniere in March 2014 as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Development. Mr. Feygin also currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Cheniere Partners and as a director and Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Cheniere Holdings. Prior to joining Cheniere, Mr. Feygin worked with Loews Corporation from November 2007 to March 2014, most recently as its Vice President, Energy Strategist and Senior Portfolio Manager. Giles Farrer

Giles heads our LNG and gas asset research team and manages our market-leading LNG Service & Tool and LNG Corporate Service. He has nearly twenty years of experience in the energy industry, with the last fifteen focused on gas and LNG. He has built a deep understanding of all commercial aspects of the industry including supply, asset valuation, shipping, demand, contracts and gas infrastructure. As part of his role, Giles provides expert insight, advice and data on the LNG market to customers around the world, and provides support to our global gas service, tool and model products. When he first joined Wood Mackenzie, Giles worked in our upstream group covering the Middle East and South Asia. He previously worked for Evaluate Energy in London.

Frédéric Barnaud

Chief Commercial Officer

Frédéric Barnaud has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SEFE Marketing & Trading since September 2021, and then Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of SEFE since February 2023. Frédéric Barnaud has more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas sector and has served as Group CEO and CCO for various global energy and trading companies. Among other things, he led important international negotiations on LNG supplies and was acknowledged by the industry as LNG Executive of the Year 2019. Before joining SEFE, he served at Mercuria Energy Trading in Geneva (Group Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer), and prior to that at Paviliion Energy Group in Singapore (Group CEO). As SEFE CCO Frédéric leads Trading & Portfolio Management, and is a member of the Management Board. He coordinates SEFE's green expansion in hydrogen and low-carbon energies. He holds a master’s equivalent from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris and was a research fellow at Oxford University’s Institute for Energy Studies. He is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and INSEAD International Directors Programme.

Gavin’s expertise lies in assisting diverse energy companies to identify risks and opportunities in their business, and supporting them in building strategies to exploit changing market opportunities. Most recently, he has been directing our landmark upstream carbon emissions study, working with the world's leading oil and gas companies to evaluate upstream emissions and impact on future value. In his 24 years at Wood Mackenzie, Gavin has built trusted relationships within the leading gas and LNG companies worldwide. His research background enables him to blend a seasoned operational perspective with insight into the latest market trends and issues. He has played a key role in a wide range of high profile consulting projects and industry events related to the global gas and LNG market. Prior to his current role, Gavin was Head of Global LNG, responsible for both research and consulting. He developed a holistic strategy for LNG business and built relationships with the leading global LNG importers. Gavin began his career at BG Plc and has worked as an independent consultant.

Rogier Beaumont

Rogier Beaumont has been in the LNG industry for over 15 years across various roles and regions. He began his career at ConocoPhillips in London, working in the Gas & Power trading team before transitioning to the LNG team mainly managing the company's LNG interests in Qatar and the initiation of the APLNG project in Australia. Following his tenure at ConocoPhillips, he joined Gazprom Marketing & Trading (current SEFE), serving in both London and Singapore. Michael started his career in the energy industry in 1993 where he worked at Powergen plc in various technical and strategy roles. Following the acquisition of Powergen by E.ON SE in 2002, he worked in Corporate Strategy at E.ON. In 2007 he joined the management board of E.ON Climate and Renewables, and was appointed as CEO in 2015. In 2017 he became CEO of E.ON UK, where he led the company’s transformation into a leading supplier of green electricity and zero carbon energy solutions. Apart from his position as CEO of Uniper, he is also Council Member of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and a non- executive director of United Utilities plc. He was formerly a non-executive director of Equinor ASA. He holds degrees in Engineering and Environmental Law.

Before joining NextDecade, James spent over 20 years with Shell in various marketing and trading positions. His last role was as General Manager of Shell’s Gas and LNG Markets business in Asia, India, and the Middle East, where he set up Shell’s energy trading business in India. As part of his functions, he serves as CEO, or Executive Chairman of all Snam’s controlled regas infrastructures. Dr James Henderson is a Distinguished Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies (OIES) and an Honorary Professor at Warwick University. He is also a Visiting Professor at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic and at the College of Europe in Natolin, Warsaw, and has lectured on energy economics and security of supply at a number of universities in Europe and the US. He has worked in the oil and gas sector for US company Amerada Hess, as well as spending time as a consultant and investment banker. He obtained a PhD in Social Sciences from London University in 2010. He has produced numerous papers on the global energy economy and has published three books on Russian energy - “The Russian Gas Matrix: How Markets are Driving Change” (OUP, 2014, co-edited), “International Partnership in Russia” (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014) and most recently “The Globalisation of Russian Gas: Political and Commercial Catalysts” (2020, Edward Elgar, with Arild Moe). Niall was previously CFO for bp’s businesses in the Caspian and Middle East Regions overseeing all commercial activity related to bp’s world class oil and gas value chains in the region. Mauro brings over fifteen years of experience in energy markets, and he is a recognized specialist in the natural gas and LNG industry. He is part of the Americas consulting team and leads the practice for gas and LNG in Latin America. Previously, Mauro headed the South American gas markets research team and in that role he supported LNG-to-power projects, new gas supply agreements, gas monetization strategies and M&As of gas pipelines in Latin America. He also headed the European gas market research during the European energy crisis, being responsible for short and long-term outlooks for European balances and TTF prices. He supported projects for European gas price differentials, pipeline expansions and identification of price arbitrage opportunities, competitiveness assessment for long-term capacity booking in Northwest Europe LNG terminals, and gas pipeline expansions. Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Mauro spent time as a visiting researcher at the Imperial College London, the Center for Environmental and Sustainability Research in Portugal and the Center on Energy and Environmental Economics in Brazil. He has worked in the Ministry of Mines and Energy and National Environmental Fund in Peru. He joined Honeywell in 2024 as part of the acquisition of Air Products’ LNG business, after completing 22 years in industry.
