Alina has over 12 years of professional experience spanning metals & mining, management consulting, and technology.
She joined Wood Mackenzie in 2023 as a Senior Analyst in base metals, initially focusing on zinc costs before transitioning to nickel in 2025. She now leads Wood Mackenzie's nickel costs service, specializing in the Indonesian nickel sector and its policy landscape's implications for global supply. Alina is also actively involved in advancing AI capabilities across Wood Mackenzie's research teams.
Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Alina spent five years at Eurasian Resources Group as an Investment Analyst managing capital expenditures across copper and cobalt, ferroalloys, aluminium, coal, iron ore, and energy divisions, and later as a Business Analyst delivering a critical finance transformation project for the Group.
Alina also held positions in Data & AI at Accenture's Microsoft Hub in London and managed data projects at Under Armour in Hong Kong.
