Dr Allen Wang is a highly experienced energy market research leader with more than 15 years of experience in power and renewables markets in various countries. He is responsible for providing insights and advisory to commercial clients in energy market planning, regulation, operation and policies.
Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Allen was the Executive Director at S&P Global Commodity Insights,leading APAC Power and Renewables Research team. He was also the lead developer and lead consultant at Energy Exemplar serving PLEXOS clients in global markets.
Allen is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Energy (AIE) and member of the Institute of Electricaland Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He acts as the Industry Supervisor for research students in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
