Ammar Al Balushi
Research Associate, Hydrogen and Derivatives
In his role at Wood Mackenzie, Ammar supports the development of long-term supply and demand outlooks and price forecasts for ammonia. He also tracks policy and market developments in both the hydrogen and ammonia sectors.
During his first year at Wood Mackenzie, Ammar supported the development of carbon-intensive hydrogen coverage, hydrogen market quarterly trackers, and led workstreams on hydrogen industry sentiment and deal flow.
Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Ammar was a trainee at the Nama Power and Water Procurement Company in Oman, where he contributed to various utility-scale power and water desalination projects.
Ammar is based in our Edinburgh office. He is fluent in both English and Arabic.
