Ankush Singh

Ankush is a manager in the corporate research team at Wood Mackenzie, based in Gurugram. He leads a global analyst team delivering corporate research, proprietary datasets, and strategic insights across upstream, downstream, and metals and mining. He is responsible for operating model design, capacity planning, product operations, commercial engagement, and service maintenance to drive growth. Since joining in 2023, he has also spent over a year in the Commodities team, managing a 20+ member research team delivering insights across oil and chemicals, gas and LNG, metals and mining, and maritime.  

With over 12 years of experience, Ankush specialises in scaling analyst teams, improving research productivity, and strengthening data-led decision-making. Prior to this, he spent over seven years at Janes (formerly IHS Markit), leading research teams and developing large-scale data products across country intelligence and transportation globally. He began his career at Infiniti Research, focusing on market intelligence and competitive analysis for logistics and transportation markets.
