Chris Barry

Since joining the business, Chris has managed a range of consulting projects covering the refining, chemicals, and storage sectors. These have spanned transaction support, competitiveness and opportunity screening, greenfield development studies, feedstock and product market analysis, government advisory, and strategy development.

Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Chris worked for BP and Petroplus at the Coryton Refinery in the UK. He held positions within the engineering team, providing technical support, operational optimisation and project development. He followed this with roles in production planning, with responsibilities for setting and executing the refinery's commercial plan and co-ordinating between the refinery, trading, marketing, and shipping operations teams.
