Chris Grieve leads a team that develops and shapes new business partnerships and strategic growth opportunities. Since taking on the role in 2019, his emphasis has been on opportunities that accelerate the development of Wood Mackenzie’s advanced Analytics and Energy Transition businesses.
Chris has 25 years of experience in the energy industry, beginning with his first job as a commercial analyst for BP. From there, Chris spent nine years working in the Energy Investment Banking teams of Deutsche Bank and UBS before joining Wood Mackenzie’s Upstream Consulting team. He progressed through a series of management roles to become global head of Consulting, shaping the team’s expansion into chemicals and power and renewables.
Chris holds a BEng in Electrical Engineering from Strathclyde University, Glasgow.
