Darren has over 26 years of energy industry experience in Asia and the Middle East. He joined Wood Mackenzie in 2012 and is currently based in Singapore, where he advises national oil companies and independent upstream and midstream businesses on operational strategy, acquisitive growth opportunities and business development.
An engineer by trade, Darren previously worked for a boutique consultancy in Singapore and the Middle East. His operational expertise is founded on 14 years experience managing assets and assessing operations for ExxonMobil, ICI and Shell, where he held various positions in downstream operations across Asia and in the UK.
Darren is a sought-after speaker at industry conferences around the world, where he shares his detailed operational understanding and technical expertise to comment on the evolving downstream sector.
