David joined Wood Mackenzie in 2019, and he has been covering iron ore market research from our Perth office. David has more than 15 years of experience in market research and trading across various bulk commodities. He is a highly experienced and multi-disciplined researcher/trader with a strong fundamental research background and expertise in commodities and mining assets. Specialities include fundamental supply and demand research and system mechanics, forecasting, modelling, trading and risk management.
David began his career with the International Energy Agency (OECD) in Paris to then work with three mining majors (Rio Tinto, Vale and Anglo American) and a leading international commodities trading company (Trafigura).
