Diego manages the global analyst upstream team who are focused on upstream research and the modeling of America’s upstream operations. He is based in Mexico City and has worked on different projects, mainly focusing on upstream developments for various clients worldwide, including the characterisation of tender processes, market studies, investment evaluation and methodology creation. He is business fluent in English, an intermediate German speaker and a native Spanish speaker.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Diego worked with Schlumberger for nine years, participating in well-construction projects within eight different countries; he was involved in the execution and design of multiple field operations, managed local teams and locations, and sales allowing him to get a good understanding of the upstream industry. He joined Wood Mackenzie as an associate consultant in May 2018.
