Edgar Manzano

Edgar is a research analyst in our Product Market Service, which covers oil products. He forecasts short- and long-term petroleum product demand across North America, with a particular focus on transportation.

Edgar joined Wood Mackenzie in 2025 from the Mexican energy regulator, where he worked on several competition and regulatory enforcement cases, providing statistical evidence and models of alleged unlawful behaviour. Previously, Edgar worked at the Mexican competition authority, primarily evaluating the impact of its interventions in several markets.
