Kai joined Wood Mackenzie in 2025 in London. As part of the carbon management team, he leads global metals and mining emissions, ensuring robust and consistent data across our commodities for the Emissions Benchmarking Tool and Lens M&M emissions. In this role, he leverages a background in mining optimisation analystics to enhance product offerings, manage cross-commodity datasets, support client engagement, and contribute to broader research on industry decarbonisation trends in the evolving energy transition and policy landscape.

Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Kai worked as a mining analytics engineer with projects spanning across the Americas, Africa, and the UAE, supporting mining operations through specialist software implementation, advanced data analytics, and consultancy services.
