Kusum is a Research Analyst within Wood Mackenzie’s APAC Power & Renewables team, with expertise in long-term power dispatch modelling, electricity market analysis, and strategic research. She focuses on evaluating APAC power markets, conducting data-driven analysis, developing market intelligence, and generating key insights through comprehensive research, report writing, retail tariff assessments, and open-access market analysis.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Kusum worked at Schneider Electric for three years, where she focused on the Australian, Singaporean, New Zealand, and Japanese energy markets. Her primary responsibilities included sourcing & procuring electricity and gas for commercial and industrial customers, conducting in-depth market research and preparing reports. She also engaged with clients, retailers and delivered bespoke consulting solutions, providing strategic insights and market intelligence.

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power System Management, Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur.
