Laura is a principal consultant on our APAC consulting team, based in Melbourne. She manages projects across the mining value chain for clients including major miners, cross-commodity conglomerates, investment banks, battery manufacturers, automotive OEMs and government agencies.
Since 2021, Laura has specialised in battery raw materials (BRMs), with a thorough understanding of lithium, nickel, cobalt, graphite, precursor and downstream markets. She has led our market advisory for a key lithium industry IPO as well as managing investment opportunity screening, market entry, price discovery and procurement support projects in the BRM sector.
Laura brings 15 years of international strategy and marketing experience in the mining sector to her role. Since joining Wood Mackenzie in 2019, she has led consulting engagements across a wide range of mined commodities.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Laura was a global product manager for mining explosives company Orica, where she developed the portfolio strategy and led the market assessment and introduction of several high-margin products.
