Michelle Uriarte-Ruiz joined Wood Mackenzie in 2024 and is based in London. She is part of the carbon team, providing clients with insights and analysis of carbon offset projects and the voluntary carbon market. Her primary focus lies in the voluntary carbon market sector, developing offset project valuations and expanding our offerings on carbon market dynamics.
Prior to joining the carbon team, Michelle worked for a carbon ratings agency and contributed to rating various international carbon offset projects. Additionally, she has experience working as a sustainability consultant for both government and corporate sectors and has worked in academia exploring the hydrogen economy in the UK.
