
Mónica is a hydrogen-focused research analyst for Wood Mackenzie’s Power & Renewables department. She works on modelling hydrogen markets, tracking project deployments, policy, and technology trends and analysing hydrogen midstream costs.
Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Mónica worked as a cost estimator for industrial projects at Galp, in Portugal, including green hydrogen and hydrotreated vegetable oil. Prior to this role, she held analyst positions at Air Liquide, handling CO2 European Trading Scheme and energy management topics in the Benelux markets before switching to pricing and business analysis in Iberia.
Education
Mónica holds a MSc. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from the Nova University of Lisbon (FCT-NOVA).
