Redd Zhou

Redd joined Wood Mackenzie’s chemicals team as an analyst in 2022. He is responsible for polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) analysis in China. Redd manages the Asset Benchmarking Tools for both PE and PP.

Redd has 15 years of working experience in the chemicals industry, spanning PVC, synthetic esters and coal-to-chemicals.

Prior to Wood Mackenzie, Redd worked with Methanex for 5 years as marketing manager. He was responsible for market analysis, pricing methodology, competition analysis and regional business strategy. The analysis covered ranges from upstream, natural gas, coal, to downstream olefins and derivatives. Before Methanex, Redd worked with Lubrizol in the synthetic lubricant industry for 7 years. His role switched from technical developer to sales management.
