Sagar joined Wood Mackenzie's gold mine costs team in 2020. Based in Melbourne, he leads our coverage of gold costs and project development, and writes thematic research on the sector.
He has more than 15 years' experience analysing metals and mining companies, and has also worked across oil and gas, utilities and renewables.
Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Sagar held research and advisory roles at Moody's Analytics, Evalueserve and Verity Knowledge Solutions (UBS affiliate). There he covered base and precious metals, built financial models, drafted pitch books for M&A and transaction advisory mandates, and led teams of analysts and associates.
