Scott is a director in our Corporate Research team, based in Edinburgh. He manages a team of analysts who deliver industry-leading data, analysis and opinion. In addition, Scott works as part of the Corporate Research leadership team, with a focus on strategy and operations.
With Wood Mackenzie since 2005, Scott has worked in a variety of roles in regional Upstream Research teams (coverage spanning the Americas, the North Sea, Continental Europe and Central Asia), Upstream Consulting and Commodities Research.
During his career at Wood Mackenzie, Scott spent over five years in our Houston office, managing the Upstream Research team focused on key US Lower 48 shale plays, including the Permian and Eagle Ford. In another role, he managed our Global Gas Service and led our integrated markets research programme. He has also participated in a wide range of consulting projects, including multi-client studies, asset benchmarking and opportunity screening.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Scott worked for Reuters.
