Victor leads our power solutions research, drawing on a decade of experience in European power and renewables markets. He joined Wood Mackenzie in 2020 through the acquisition of Genscape, where he managed Power Solutions for Short-Term Power.
Before joining the business, Victor was a trader at Vattenfall. He started as a fundamental analyst on the cross-commodity desk forecasting prices moves on the forward curve. He quickly took on the role of cross-commodity trader, building his proprietary strategy; he later developed the algorithmic trading division of the power desk.
