The International Chromium Development Association (ICDA) is pleased to announce that it will host its landmark conference, Chromium 2025, in Seville, Spain, from 4th to 6th November 2025.
Building on the success of recent conferences held in China and South Africa, two of the foremost players in the global chrome industry,“Chromium 2025” will shift the spotlight to Europe. The region is now at a critical juncture, as it redefines its role amid shifting economic and geopolitical dynamics.
The emergence of Europe as a new economic and political bloc between the USA and the Global South has coincided with significantly shifting trends in the region’s industrial competitiveness. Geopolitical tensions, international trade disputes, and a complex regulatory environment have had a notable impact on the region’s ferroalloy and stainless steel sectors. These evolving challenges are prompting a reassessment of Europe’s industrial strategy, making this conference both timely and essential.
We are pleased to confirm that Wood Mackenzie will be at the event. Our Principal Analyst, Hetal Bhatia, will speak at the conference, addressing the evolving global supply landscape for chromium and its strategic importance for Europe’s in securing supplies.
We look forward to welcoming industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders to Seville for what promises to be an insightful and impactful event.
