Calgary | Supply Chain Tariffs Briefing 2025

Canada’s history has long been defined in relation to the United States, from periods of close integration including Canada’s entry into the G7 and the first free trade agreement in 1989, to periods of distrust often spurring nation building exercises such as the Rideau Canal and the Canadian Railways. The threatened imposition of new tariffs on Canada and Mexico has renewed a discussion about Canada’s North-South Trade.

Join Wood Mackenzie and an expert panel as we review the expected impacts:

  • How companies are adapting and what impacts are being seen
  • What approaches for greater resilience may mean for supply chains
  • What efforts to build resilience may mean for Alberta and Canada as a whole.

This briefing will explore the direct and indirect impacts on the Canadian market from both US tariffs, counter-vailing tariffs, and anticipated tariffs on Canadian companies and infrastructure development.
