      • Darren Smith has over 26 years of experience in the energy sector working in Asia and the Middle East. Darren joined Wood Mackenzie in 2012 as part of the Global Consulting Leadership Team, and he is currently based in Singapore overseeing the Asia Pacific consulting business. Darren graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, and has a Master Degree in Commerce majoring in Economics also from the University of New South Wales. Prior to working for Wood Mackenzie, Darren was the Asia Pacific Managing Director for a boutique consulting organisation based in Singapore. Prior to this Darren was based in the Middle East for 4 years, looking after the respective downstream consulting practice in this region. Darren had 14 years with ExxonMobil, ICI, & Shell where he held various downstream positions including operations management and commercial roles within Asia and the UK. Darren has substantial change management experience which was developed and refined during his time in operations management with ICI and ExxonMobil. Darren’s consulting experience in the Middle East and in Asia has been in the area of advising many of the National Oil Companies and Independents on strategy development, commercial studies, M&A opportunities and due diligence.       • Prakash has over 26 years’ experience in energy and metals & mining and climate change policy developments, ranging from operational management to commodity trading and business strategy. He joined Wood Mackenzie in 2006 and is currently based in Beijing. He leads integrated analysis and cross-commodity discussions for China. He has presented to board and senior level management teams, as well as at major industry conferences. Prakash’s extensive experience in the commodity sector includes export of steel-making raw materials (metallurgical coal, iron ore and scrap) and energy coal to China for an established Canadian trading firm. He has also spent nine years in the mining industry specialising in technical services, international sourcing and ISO 9001 certification. Prakash is a Mining Engineer with an MBA from the International Management Institute in India.
