See the grid before the market does

Power markets have changed. AI-driven demand, weather-dependent supply and tighter reserve margins have raised the stakes. Yet most data still comes from forecasts and filings. We measure generation, transmission, congestion and large loads directly for earlier visibility into market-moving conditions.

The gap you trade inside:

The grid has changed. So has the cost of being wrong.

When demand or supply departs from historical patterns, prices reflect expected grid conditions, not actual ones.

Behind-the-meter storage, onsite generation and large loads outside formal programmes may never be reflected in ISO dispatch or operator reporting.

Prices stay anchored to pre-event conditions until the next update. Large disruptions can take multiple cycles to fully register.

The timing advantage of direct measurement
Early signals. Proven in real-world market events.
29 min ahead

One of ERCOT's largest generators lost half its output without warning. EMF sensors caught it within 60 seconds, 29 minutes before Hub North repriced ~24%. Overnight confirmation the unit remained offline opened a second window before next-day critical hours settled 63% above the prior peak.

$33/MWh loss avoided

A transmission line outage sent the node to ~$400/MWh while the hub remained near $40. Sensors identified the binding constraint 10 minutes before ERCOT's model. WoodMac subscribers captured $6/MWh on congestion products; desks relying on hub data lost $33/MWh.

How our power trading intelligence is different

What the market often relies on What it misses What we measure instead
Public data aggregators Repackage ISO/RTO data: delayed by operator filings, hub-level averages, no direct measurement of physical grid conditions Directly measure generation, transmission and demand in real-time
ISO dispatch (SCED) Forecast-driven, updates on a fixed 5-minute cycle, misses unannounced events Event-driven, sub-minute detection at source, ahead of ISO dispatch recognition
Operator filings and EIA data Confirm events hours to days after they occur EMF and infrared alerts within minutes of the event
Hub-level averages Can mask localized congestion and nodal price dislocations Node-level visibility reveals localized congestion and price dislocations that hub prices can mask
