Leveraging exclusive relationships with individual state-level rebate agencies and utilities, we have been able to combine detailed project-level data with survey data collected directly from installers and suppliers to produce the most comprehensive market share estimates available for the U.S. solar market. This product provides quarterly and national market share estimates for installers and module suppliers as well as state-by-state breakdowns for California, New Jersey, Arizona, Maryland, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, and New Mexico. The combined data represents over 70% of installed solar capacity in the U.S.

Installer market shares, both residential and commercial for California, New Jersey, Arizona, New York, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania, and residential only for Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Darolina, Texas, and Hawaii (permit data). Rankings for Colorado and Minnesota are limited to the commercial solar market. Installers are ranked nationally and by state.
