Jessica Ciosek leads exploration and subsurface research for the Americas. She has considerable deepwater experience and is focused on industry trends, opportunity valuation, and how companies adapt to dynamic market conditions.
Jessica joined Wood Mackenzie in 2024 and is based in Houston; she is engaged in the expansion of our subsurface products, generates insights on exploration activity, and provides client support.
She holds 16 years of operator experience at BHP Petroleum and Hess Corporation, where she led exploration teams, corporate planning activities, and business development evaluations. Her career portfolio extends across the upstream value chain and includes a variety of operating environments - from frontier exploration to onshore production.
Jessica earned a Master’s degree in Geology from Wright State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Geology from the University of Dayton.
