Ahmed Alfad​el

Research Associate – LNG & Macroeconomics

Ahmed is a Research Associate working across Wood Mackenzie’s Gas & LNG and Macroeconomics teams. He contributes to LNG assets’ analysis and emissions research, as well as energy transition scenarios impact on GDP, economic monitoring, and regional GDP forecasting, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.​​

Ahmed joined Wood Mackenzie in 2025 and is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Previously, he worked in energyengineering at Saudi Aramco. He also serves as a board member of the Sustainable Environmental LeadershipAssociation, supporting youth environmental leadership.
