Ahmed Alfadel
Research Associate – LNG & Macroeconomics
Ahmed is a Research Associate working across Wood Mackenzie’s Gas & LNG and Macroeconomics teams. He contributes to LNG assets’ analysis and emissions research, as well as energy transition scenarios impact on GDP, economic monitoring, and regional GDP forecasting, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.
Ahmed joined Wood Mackenzie in 2025 and is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Previously, he worked in energyengineering at Saudi Aramco. He also serves as a board member of the Sustainable Environmental LeadershipAssociation, supporting youth environmental leadership.
