Alexander Connelly

Alexander leads Wood Mackenzie's Upstream Subsurface Research team, driving the delivery of industry-leading Subsurface research and data analysis. With over a decade of experience, he has established himself as a key advisor to major and independent oil and gas companies in developing their subsurface strategies.

His portfolio includes authoring comprehensive basin performance reports, analysing global exploration trends, and producing in-depth company exploration reports focusing on both strategy and performance. Prior to his current role, Alexander held strategic positions within Wood Mackenzie's subsurface teams.

Alexander holds a MESci Honours degree in Geology from the University of Liverpool.
