Dr. Allen Wang is the vice president, heading power and renewables research team of APAC. He isa highly experienced energy market research leader with 16 years of experience in power andrenewables markets in various countries. He is responsible for providing insights and advisory tocommercial clients in energy market planning, regulation, operation, and policies.
Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Allen was the Executive Director at S&P Global Commodity Insights,leading APAC Power and Renewables Research team. Allen was also the lead developer and leadconsultant at Energy Exemplar serving PLEXOS clients in global markets.
Dr. Wang is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Energy (AIE) and member of the Institute of Electricaland Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He acts as the Industry Supervisor for research students in theFaculty of Engineering and Information Technology at University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
