Ankita is head of global cleantech supply chain research for Wood Mackenzie’s Power & Renewables group. She has more than 15 years of experience in the power sector, specialising in renewable energy and energy storage technologies. She brings her deep expertise in policy assessment, techno-economic analysis of emerging and established technologies, due diligence of renewable assets and collaboration with research teams across the globe.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie in 2025, Ankita worked with S&P Global and ICF International, where she focused on leading the renewable energy and energy efficiency research for the South Asia region.
During her career, Ankita has worked in research and consulting roles, advising independent power producers, investors, power utilities, industrial consumers and government bodies on projects that support the achievement of climate change mitigation goals, the preparation of power procurement strategies, mergers and acquisitions of renewable energy assets and the shaping of business strategies.
