He monitors and tracks upstream activities across the country, assessing asset performance, reserves, production trends and operator strategies. He delivers insights and forecasts on Nigeria's upstream sector, including project developments, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to support client decision-making.

Babawale worked at Shell for 18 years as an senior exploration geologist, senior production and development Geologist, seismic interpreter covering Nigeria's Niger Delta terrains and Brunei. Workscope included assessing and growing exploration portfolios, managing challenging HSE wells, delivering discovered exploration resources through relevant development gates. He also worked at Total/NNPC as a exploration and wellsite geologist for onshore Nigeria.
