Duncan is a director in the consulting group at Wood Mackenzie with over 15 years of experience in the metals and mining industry.
His key areas of expertise are strategy and transactions advisory, where his focus in on value creation for his clients. Duncan has been a trusted advisor to many of the world’s largest private equity, pension, and infrastructure funds, as well as commercial banks, export credit agencies, governments, and global industry players. He has advised on several transactions worth billions of dollars, on both the buy-side and sell-side.
Duncan has worked globally across all major mining jurisdictions and has broad commodity experience, including a multitude of projects in gold, lithium, copper, nickel, iron ore, steel, coal and many others.
Prior to consulting, Duncan worked as a mechanical engineer designing, constructing and commissioning metals projects globally.
